One thing I was told is that Pioneer and Pioneer Elite are like two totally different companies. They are both owned by the same parent, but that they have totally independent R&D and design teams. That may not be true anymore, but it was for a while. Bryan

Does the elite model you got even compare to the 3802. Wouldn't it be better to compare it to a 4802 or higher? I understand the elite may be better, but it is most likely in a higher class as well. You may have heard these improvements with a 4802, too. Bryan
