"Regular people" ? Anyone with decent eyesight should notice a big difference between standard definition DVD, and HD Blu-Ray. I'm not saying you can't enjoy DVD, but Blu-Ray is so much better. If someone doesn't notice a big improvement from DVD to BD, chances are they really don't care...

I simply think the Darbee processor as a "sharpening tool". Just like when you adjust the settings on your TV to get the optimum picture setting(Color, sharpness, brightness levels) most pleasing to you.
