This seems to be the problem with my Lexicon LDD-1 AC-3 demodulator. Who else is using a demod and what type are you using? BTW, my 2nd AVM20 has the popping/center channel cutting out problem. Another replacement is on the way. "Third time's a charm" or "Three strikes, you're out"? Bruce

Evan, It sounds like there's not enough signal to the sub at low volumes to keep the sub from turning off. How about lowering the sub amp's 'volume' and increasing the sub output on the AVM-20? This should send a stronger signal to the sub and keep it from shutting off. Bruce p.s. I...
