I thought the 4-track audio sounded clearer and brighter than the 7.1 audio. At least the Jet whistle that follows the Tonight Ensemble number is present on both of them. I remember when that got mixed out on the first DVD release.
Here are my impressions after getting the Target-exclusive edition last night:
- The fade to black during the overture is there, as we all knew it would be, and, yes, it is a total fade to black.
