The Tigers are gift wrapping this for the Cards. They need to sack up tomorrow or it will be golfing time.

I don't think they are panicking. Bonderman also dominated his game in the ALCS, should be a great matchup. Go Tigers!

Now that is a good point. Tigers better take care of business in St. Louis! Of course I know two guys that have game 6 tickets and want to go.

It's all a moot point. LaRussa knows his guys probably use the stuff in the cold too. No inspection was ordered, the Tigers won, game 3 is tonight. Good matchup of Carpenter v Robertson. I had a blast in Detroit for game 1.

Still doesn't change the fact that he shut them down after it was gone. Not to mention, it is on LaRussa to ask for an inspection. I think it was a major mistake for him not to demand that. I don't think anyone can tell me that their baseball team doesn't cheat in some way or try and get the...

Great game by Rogers yet again, he is truly having an amazing post season. Craig Monroe is also having a nice post season. It was fun being down in Detroit last night before game 1. It was a very festive atmosphere with no real trouble seen. Here are a few pictures from the trip, most of them...

Went downtown Detroit last night and got some pics. Mike Tirico and Pedro Gomez literally brushed my shoulder as they were walking down the street to the ESPN trailer. It was pretty funny, my buddy just looked at Gomez and said "Hey Pedro" very non-chalantly, Pedro looked at him, said hey, then...

I think your right, I might just head down there. We here in Michigan are pretty lucky. Since 1989 we have been lucky enough to have 3 Piston Championships, 3 Red Wing Championships, 1 championship each in basketball from Michigan and Michigan State, a Football National Championship for Michigan...

Ok guys, tough decision so I need some help. A buddy of mine wants to go hang out around Comerica Park tomorrow before game 1 and watch it in a local pub or Chris Chelios bar or something, or I can stay home and watch it on HD on my projector. It would be a heck of a time downtown, but I won't...

Leyland has announced the Tigers rotation, with the rookie Verlander starting Game 1, Kenny Rogers game 2, Robertson 3 and Bonderman 4. This is nice because it sets up The Roaster for two home games if need be and probably Bonderman in game 7 if need be. I just can't wait for this series to get...

Should be a fun series with some plot lines. Of course it's going to get old listening about all the stories about Leyland and LaRussa being best friends blah blah blah. The Cards also feature former Tiger starters in Jeff Weaver and Juan "five tool" Encarnacion. I was only 8 when the Tigers won...

Just wanted to put this little blurb about how the city of Detroit handled the situation. " Detroit does city proud with safe, fun celebration The City of Detroit has gotten a few black-eyes over the years (some of which were not deserved and were the result of cheap shots taken by out of...

Just read that yesterday was Ordonez sons birthday and he told him before the game that he would hit a home run for him for his birthday. Not only did he hit two, but he did it on the exact same date that Kirk Gibson hit two home runs in the world series against the Padres 22 years ago! Amazing!!!

It's funny because both Ordonez and Kenny Rogers are absolutely loved in this town and clubhouse and neither are considered bad guys here. Magglio is typically light hearted and humble in his interviews and actually looks somewhat uncomfortable in alot of them. I probably saw close to 100 or so...

The Tigers go up 3-0 in the series with another brilliant performance by Kenny Rogers. This whole thing is just simply amazing. If they can close it out today, they would have a week to rest their pitchers and also have home field for the World Series.

Sounds good to me Mike! Lets take two on the road and sweep it at home. The players are in for a not so nice surprise when they get back to Detroit. The high on Friday is 43 degrees. YIKES, not exactly baseball weather. Supposed to warm back up a bit after the weekend at least, hopefully for the...

Many people may think the Tigers over did it with the celebration just for winning a division series last night, but there were several factors involved. First, they should have had that celebration last week at Comerica when they were to have locked up the division, but we know how that went...

It's hard not to get excited about the Tigers 2-1 lead with tomorrows game at Comerica park. As honest as I can be, Bonderman is a better pitcher than Wright, but has been tired as of late. Should be another electric game at the park. GO TIGERS!!!

This from the Detroit Free Press Oh and how about Joe Morgan actually get Verlanders name right, it's not Jason, it's Justin. And yes Joe, no matter how it looks or doesn't, Zumaya really does throw over 100mph.

I love how the Tigers were told that they were going to start at 10pm last night and had Verlander warming up for a third time, while the Yankees were informed that the game was postponed until today, but who cares right, the Tigers aren't important.
