You'd have to look at all versions of the script to say it was never there. I honestly have no idea if it was ever in any of the scripts or not.

I find it a perfect comparison. Was each film was revisited years later to make changes? Yes. Does the director/producer like the new changes better? Yes. Just because there are no LOTM action figures changes nothing. I personally like LOTM better than all five SW films. Using money...

Bill just went overboard, IMO. I mean, I love movies, and Star Wars is good fun, but to claim that it's Lucas's fault for him having a now ruined childhood is simply....well, childish. Anyway - The cleaned up effects were and always will be good additions. The plot differences are annoying...
