Aaron, I have a mits 65819 and my studio cc sits on top(like 6.5'high) I have it pointed down wards towrds the seating position. If you have to use yours on a stand it should be fine because most rptvs have their speakers lower below the screen anyways, just make sure you angle the speaker...
