Very disappointed in a lack of a Gene Tierney box set, especially as Betty Grable's first volume was a flop. It is a good point that the massive job done on the Blade Runner and The Jazz Singer releases have probably forced Warner to push everything back a tad. Well worth it though :)...
All indicators seem to be pointing towards a January 2008 release for Bonnie and Clyde, The Candidate and Cool Hand Luke. I guess with all the pre-orders I have happening at the moment, it is probably a relief :laugh:
There seems to be huge demand for Forbidden Hollywood, Bonnie and Clyde, The Candidate and Cool Hand Luke. Would make marketing sense to have them available for Christmas, but I guess my bank account will be glad of a break! :laugh:
Mr Feltenstein gave a definite yes on The Candidate and Cool Hand Luke in the chat in February (seems a life time ago!!). I would have to go back through the chat transcript for references to Bonnie and Clyde and Confidential.

Warners probably have some big September announcements coming up for December. IIRC they schedule their announcements three months in advance. As I have mentioned; Christmas time = smart marketing. Disappointing about the Harlow releases taking a little longer - I am hanging out for this...
Just thought I would mention this as it is quite astonishing; A 19-disc Deanna Durbin boxset is being released in Australia in November. Retails around $A239.95. I almost lost my cup of tea on my keyboard in amazement. Just a bit of a rant to get off my chest; I am running through the list...
