When will the rental version appear on ATV+? I'm guessing around the time of the disc releases. The Abyss laserdisc boxed set cost me $100 back in the early 90s, I believe I've put enough money into the abyss already.

I'm new to ATV+. I'm using the LG streaming app. ATV+ has the best bit rates but less new original content than Netflix, so I'm not sure I'll subscribe forever. If I let my subscription lapse can I still access purchased movies?

I noticed that, too. At least the purchase price has come down from $20 to $10. I'm going to hold out as long as necessary, I want to rent a 4K SE with extras from ATV+. Otherwise I'll wait for a Blu-ray in March!
