I heard an interview with Lorraine Brocco this morning and she said David Chase had a 20 episode season planned but after realizing how long it would take to film all 20 at once, he decided to break it up into 12 now and 8 next year. I guess that's the reason why this "season finale" was...
Hi Ron. Love the animated image, LOL. I definately don't mind the difference of opinions. We're all entitled to our own plus it makes this whole discussion very interesting. I would say that the problem here seems to be with some people not being able to "agree to disagree" and move on.
That is one thing that surprised me. I'm not familiar with how the addiction, either alcohol or drugs, works. Is robitossin or even tea really dangerous for someone recovering from addiction or was that exaggerated in the show?
Hmmm...very good character driven "season finale" but I was hoping to see a little more something happen. I mean, isn't the best stuff usually reserved for season finales and you're left with your jaw open? Didn't get that feeling here. Best scene was the "sit down" between NY and NJ with...
The stuff with Vito was a little boring yet funny at the same time. Hard to explain. I actually felt bad for AJ. It seems his "friends" only talk to him because of his family and who his father is, not because they really want his friendship. He's slow but he seems to be catching on to this...
Yes, I believe that was Tony's mother in the doorway. I would've like to see the other "dead" family members besides his mom and cousin (Buschemi). I got chills when Buschemi said something like: "That briefcase must weight a ton. Let me take that weight off of you" or something like that...
Scott, yes, he really lost a lot of weight but he still has a long way to go. Great episode last night. I guess we need to thank Paulie for bringing Tony back from his coma, lol. I burst out laughing when Paulie kept going on and on and Tony in his dream state kept banging on the wall..."SHUT...
This episode might just land Edie Falco an Emmy. Having said that, I just miss the mob-centric episodes. Let's hope Tony springs back sooner rather than later. AJ-and-Chris-centric season? That should be interesting to watch.
