You are right. Even 4K it's a waste in screen that are not giant, cause people would need to sit very close, almost as close as they stay from laptop screens, to see all details. For me 4K TV on LED (LEd backlight on LCD panel) its a hoax, cause even if you sit close enough the LCD by close view...
