A couple of years ago was watching a 1959 war movie, Up Periscope, & Alan Hale was in it, & I was thinking, my god, he never gets old! But of course it was his son, who looked just like his dad, same charm, same big grin.

All the issues with the DVD is why I'm surprised (& delighted) that Dodge City is getting a Blu-ray release. I would have put money on the easier b/w titles like The Sea Hawk & They Died With Their Boots On being released first. Not that I'm complaining...& a great Max Steiner score too.
