My theory after tonight's episode:

It might be worth recording all 13 episodes and then having a marathon, Stan. It's slow going but has terrific atmosphere.

She was credited as a guest star in the first four episodes, so it didn't surprise me that she wasn't long for this world. That being said, her manner of death was absolutely horrific.
