The Verdict has become one of my favorite films in the last few years. Looking at the screencaps, the new version does have a more natural palatte, and what looks like a negliable amount of more finely rendered detail- but I gotta say, I like the cooler color timing on the older release a lot...

very much looking forward to Jaws, Gary. i would say your caps are going to be the major factor in whether i upgrade now, or wait a few years for an HD release.
