I'm pretty happy with the version I have included in my Rogers & Hammerstein box set. But I'm curious how the transfer and extras will compare to the previous Fox release.
Again, I'm just guessing here. But I think existing digital versions purchased from when the movies were with Fox/Disney will continue to be honored. So that's why you would still have them. They just don't have the rights anymore for new sales.

You're right. The stage production is the same in this regard. I've seen it multiple times both live and via the Hugh Jackman filmed version. I'm guessing the article meant to refer to Curly and Jud, not Will and Jud, and the writer just wasn't paying attention to which name they wrote...
