Well, let him break it. We’ve gone past the time when the public persecuted Roger Maris for breaking the Babe’s home run record.

I agree. Also, while both QB's played under pressure, the Pats put more pressure on the Rams QB than the Rambs put on the Pats QB.

I agree and this no-call was truly egregious.

As a supreme court justice once said, "I may not be able to define egregious, but I'll know it when I see it."

In addition, if the Rams win, many fans will always see an asterisk next to their SB title. If the lose, it will be “see, they were the wrong team.” IMHO, this SB will always have a cloud over it.

Yes, make it only for egregious calls/non-calls. This would not add many replays to the game. He would instruct the refs to review the play. The argument against is too much time will be wasted. Gee, I’d like to compare that time to how much time has been spent by the public and the media...

When I watch a game I don’t feel like the replays are slowing it down, much. Yeah, the Saints could have stopped them, but these are two high powered offenses. The Rams got help from the refs in making the stop and holding the Saints to 3 points and keeping time on the clock. The Saints got...

You’re right of course. However, if I were a diehard Saints fan, that non-call would have given me a brain aneurysm. Sheesh! I can think of a playoff game in which league officials ordered a completed game to be replayed in its entirety. If happened to the San Diego (of course) Soccers of...

Sportscenter on CNN does a thing on the top 10 plays, maybe it’s time for a thing on top 10 worst officiating calls. This non-call that killed the Saints would be a candidate for number one of all time.

Ah, but it was a biggie. I think their win in SB IV was as big the Jets win. It made the series 2-2. I was watching it in a common room in the Army and I was the only one rooting for the AFL. I got a lot of stares when I’d celebrate a Chiefs score.

I pick the Pats over the Chiefs and the Saints orver the Rams. In that case, we’ve got a great SB coming. Actually no matter who makes it there, I think we’ve got a great SB coming our way.

The Patriots get ready to play their next opponent better than anyone. It would be fun to run an experiment in an alternate universe and put Brady on another team and leave Bellechick with the Pats. I think Coach B. would do the best. But I’m not knocking Brady, just praising Bellechick.

I am going by the philosophy that a tiger can’t change his stripes. And Reid is a chip off the ol’ Marty Schotenheimer. Competive in the regular season, sucks on the post. I’m picking Indy of KC. I think the Rams will beat the Cowboys.

Is my memory that bad? I thought the “not a fumble-not a TD” play was 3rd down, and then Golden definitely ran it in for a TD on 4th.

What do folks her think of the previous run when the fumble return for a touchdown was nullified. After replays aplenty, it looked it could have been a fumble or he was down by contact short of a TD, or Gordon scored a TD. I'm not sure.
