THE IMMORTAL (1970-1971) to hit DVD very soon!

I'm watching these much slower than you are Doug. But I share many of the same views on the episodes. The show was written by husband and wife team Bob and Wanda Duncan. They were mostly know for writing for the Irwin Allen shows of the 60's. One aspect of their script I want to point out is the...

THE IMMORTAL (1970-1971) to hit DVD very soon!

This episode felt like it should have aired after the pilot. I like this more than the straight car chase episodes. You almost could have filmed this with a little tweak as an Incredible Hulk episode 10 years later.

THE IMMORTAL (1970-1971) to hit DVD very soon!

I've only watched the first three shows, but I noticed that trend right away. When watching White Elephants Don't Grow On Trees" I was thinking, "Oh cool, an early TV version of Sorcerer." But it turned out to have a lot of repetitive story beats and never really dealt with the danger of the...

THE IMMORTAL (1970-1971) to hit DVD very soon!

I just got my set and watched The Immortal pilot yesterday. What do fans who have seen the show recommend? Air date or production order? Does it make a difference, like it does in The Prisoner? Or is it a good experience either way?

THE IMMORTAL (1970-1971) to hit DVD very soon!

I know VEI has started to repackage some sets such as Hotel, The Equalizer, Cannon and others into smaller sets with a smaller disc count. I think they have just carried it forward to all of their current releases. The 90's Untouchables had 5 and 6 shows to a disc too if I remember.

THE IMMORTAL (1970-1971) to hit DVD very soon!

Can anyone tell me more about the creative team behind the show? I know it was based on a novel by James Gunn, but who was responsible for developing it into a TV series?

THE IMMORTAL (1970-1971) to hit DVD very soon!

I've never seen this show. I'm a Christopher George fan and from what little I can research on the writers and directors of this show, it looks like something I'll give a chance.
