I have always scanned to my Windows PC so no experience with scanning from mobile devices.

If DVD Profiler is not needed away from home then it would be possible to set aside an old ipad or iphone to run the DVD Profiler app. I have it running on an ipad that I do not really have to update so I can sit back and wait until DVD Profiler hopefully returns.
