I know this is asking a lot of Julie Kirgo and Brian Jameson after losing Nick Redman such a relatively short time ago, but it sure would be a nice gesture to their loyal customers if they would make some sort of official announcement as to the future of Twilight Time and the possible release of...
Jill Clayburgh really should've won the Best Actress Oscar for "An Unmarried Woman" over winner Jane Fonda for "Comng Home". The Fox DVD of "An Unmarried Woman" has a wonderful commentary track with Clayburgh and Paul Mazursky that, I assume, would be carried over to the TT Blu--ray. Are you...
Nick -- Thanks SO much for what looks to be run on Paul Mazursky movies, what with "Moscow on the Hudson" and "Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice" already on Twilight Time, as well as today's announcement of "Next Stop, Greenwich Village" coming in May. Any chance we'll eventually see his...
Thanks for you explanation, Nick. I certainly defer to your expert opinion that the digital artifacts in the Blu-ray of "Stardust Memories" may only be a hi-def amplification of noise that may not be visible in the standard DVD version of the film, but may be present nonetheless. It appears to...

I have the original DVD of "Stardust Memories" from MGM and that excessive film grain does NOT appear in those two scenes (nor anywhere else) in the transfer. The scenes appear totally smooth without any "mosquito noise". That's why I kept the DVD to sit alongside the otherwise fine TT Blu-ray...
Yes, I definitely noticed the artifacts to which you're referring. It looks like "mosquito noise" in that early scene with the fans at the film festival. It later shows up later when Woody Allen and Jessica Harper are in the abandoned building on the beach and are interrupted by an actress who...
I sure hope so! I've got the Criterion Laserdisc of "The Prince of Tides" and it sure would be nice to have it on Blu-ray, esp. with the Streisand commentary. Thanks for your input!
Boy, I'm with you! It'd be great it TT released "The Age of Innocence" and "The Prince of Tides" on Blu-ray. Maybe they could even get the Streisand commentary that was on the Criterion laserdisc of "Prince" as a supplemental feature.
