Do have the UK Blu-ray releases of Circus World & 55 Days at Peking and both looked good to me. It would be nice if there was box set of all four films.
One regret was not buying Our Man Flint & In Like Flint when they came out. I do have the Ultimate Flint Collection dvd but i hope both will reappear on Blu-ray. It might be a long wait since Disney owns the films.
Just purchased Our Man in Havana, Bedazzled, and How to Steal a Million for $14.95 each but don't like paying $9.50 for shipping which seems excessive to me. I see talk of Twilight Time going out of business...is this true?
Saw this for the first time a few years ago when it was shown on TCM and liked the film but the dvd released in 2002 is a pan & scan so i hope a new release will happen soon.
Being a big fan of Francois Truffaut and very happy Twilight has released 3 of his films I would like to see Small Change or his last Confidentially Yours released. Was going to add Two English Girls but there are rumors that Criterion might release that.
From their Facebook page:
Thanks to all of you wonderful Twilight Timers for making USED CARS our latest SOLD OUT title...JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH is winding down fast as well....only 50+ remaining...
No issues with Twilight Time and I do thank them a lot for releasing titles like Journey, Mysterious Island and the Truffaut films but would like to have only one copy of a movie on my shelf.
I would not be sure about that...they might find lost deleted footage of a heated verbal exchange between James Mason & Gertrude The Duck on who is the better singer..Pat Boone or Elvis Presley and release a special third edition.
I still have the first release of "Journey" so i am still on the fence to double dip even though the new one has a better transfer and some new extras....i wish they had done it right the first time.
