Incredible.
I don't have Prime, but I pre-ordered it back when it was announced, and when it hadn't yet shipped by Tuesday evening (release date), I finally had to enlist their help in cancelling the damned thing because I bought the (last) digibook at BB.
Like you said, one of the...
I wonder if it's worth another look at eBay to see how many more copies have gone for up to $100 to some of P.T. Barnum's favorite clientele.
I REALLY would like to see the reactions...
I know this is boilerplate, but I love the one listed on Amazon Marketplace for $63.98 that comes from a smoke free home.
And I'll bet the little old lady who owned it took damned good care of it.
The Best Buy here seemingly had WAY more than 2 or 3 copies of the digibook. A friend and I grabbed the last two at noon while watching three others going out the door. And the new release rack had two sections price-marked for the digibook (with four more for the regular Blu-ray case)...
I think mine had gotten stuck in some kind of limbo, because I had to enlist Amazon's help in cancelling it today. (Because I decided on getting the digibook at Best Buy.)
I like the digibook format. I just wish it would be used for something of more value than the fluff so often seen.
But whatever's in this one, I'd happily pay the $7 if I knew it was buying me the privilege of housing ONLY the Blu-ray disc! (Yes, I know that isn't going to be the case.)
Jaws (now) and Les Vampires (someday) for me. This is quite the Jaws household, so we'll probably end up with both the regular package and the BB digibook.
