Is it safe to assume that using the time travel ending to Superman II was originally intended? I read that they were filming them at the same and in order to wrap things up faster for shooting they had to finish Superman I first. Could that be why they decided to use the originally planned...

I'm really looking forward to watch the Donner Superman II. I will look at it the same way I look at the Alien 3 workprint edition... just a view of what might have been.

I'll second "being confused". Is there going to be a mega-set in the US that has all four original Superman films, plus Donner Pt. II, plus Superman Returns, plus UP IN THE SKY? I'd like to wait for that if that is the case. I thought I read about it before, but I haven't seen anything since.
