I heard a story in which SAVING PRIVATE RYAN was given an NC-17, Steven Spielberg simply went to talk to the MPAA, and I guess because he is so powerful a person in Hollywood, they reversed there decision and RYAN got an R without Spielberg making a cut. I wonder if the same thing happened... -

There was only one print problem when I saw it at Loews in Pittsburgh. In the first pan into to Jesus at the beginning it jumped like some frames got eaten and the sound went out for a moment. But it probably was just the projector ate a couple of frames and they had to splice the film back...
