Yeh I figured as much with the splitter but I read powered splitters being best but wasnt sure if that applied to matrix. Both my tv and monitor are 3D yeh so 1.4 is almost a must tbh.

There just as confusing gah!. Most specify going to two output but not from different inputs. Then I find the cheaper ones have 36bit color support but hdmi 1.3 or 1.2 and the expensive ones use 1.4a but only 8-16bit color.Also looking at them im starting to worry about quality loss and input...

Zone 2?? Whats that. I want a av reciever for the hub for all.my consoles ect but the output of the reciever to go to my tv and a seperate output to my monitor? So when used I can watch one thing on one tv and another on my monitor.. does that make sense?

I dont understand this at all why would you use up a HDMi slot for sound when you already have sound via other ports? Is it purely for easy control ?I need all the hdmi ports I can get so I wouldnt use arc myself

Ryse: son of rome would be good they put alot of work into the graphics I imagine sound would be a priority aswell. Excelent game. Also avatar bluray is awesome with full set up. Lights down and munchies in hand! New movie best being... endera game imo. Best book good film

Another option if they exist is a sound bar with a bluetooth output/relay but with 3.5mm / optical input. But so far cant find them
