UV tried to crack down on buying/selling of UV codes on e-Bay several months after UV started. They said "unbundling" them (meaning selling UV codes without the blu-ray and/or dvd) violated their license/TOS. I guess they gave up though.

Which site were you looking at? Vudu and iTunes are both offering 1080p for Prometheus. I didn't check but Xbox and Sony PSN/VU should too. If you were looking at Amazon Instant Video, Amazon only supports 720p.
