    42" Philips LCD HDTV - no audio - do I need a new HDMI cable?

    I have the same problem. No matter what order you turn on/off the tv and cable there is no sound. Only when you unplug the cable before turning on the tv. So frustrating!!:o Anyone ever figure this out?
