Ordered direct a few days ago, Note that the last title is listed as SD format only. There seems to be no Three Stooges shorts in this box set like previous recent Columbia/Powerhouse sets.
I have been saying that about Copper Canyon(1950) for a long time. There are still a few post-1949 Paramounts still not on Blu Ray yet from this period.
Dixon of Dock Green was a long running British TV police station series going from b&w to color and all starring English comedian Jack Warner who originated the Dixon role on The Blue Lamp (Ealing 1950). Dixon became the oldest serving police officer!!!! The UK series never screened in Australia...
Mammy laserdisc was faulty with a long join down the middle. A Jolson fan had preciously seen the film in London and there was no line like the Laserdisc version. Also the color was found and in the DVD version
I even had a 16mm film copy bought in the 1970s from a producer who acquired a collection from a distributor who suicided, I think. The Police in Northern Ca found my friend's details and contracted him and told him to come up and take the haul. Good quality it was too and I had never seen it...

Was in the MCA Paramount package when first released to TV in my country. Always wanted a disc but none so far but at least I saw the first TV screening.
Well, Wade Williams is out of the loop as he has been dead a few weeks now. Who knows what his family will do or are doing with his shelved films in the Kansas area, I believe.
More than passable and will buy. I loved the play script when I read it as a boy when play volumes were available during 1950s-60s. Haven't seen those volumes since.
Keep in mind that the films were meant to be destroyed after a certain date by Columbia(10 years?) in the deal with King Features Syndicate(Hearst). The King Features package foolishly altered the head/tail graphics and music for TV presentation. Never understand these things. Columbia had a...
