I find it easy to argue with Frasier's reasonings. Number one app for me is easily Google Chrome which he barely mentions. Safari blows, it stinks. Its a wretched web browser, I dumped safari as a browser on my macbook a while back. Its slow, buggy, unresponsive, crash prone. Next is google...
Amazing Alex has been put back on the play store. Looks allright, but I"ve already overdosed on physics based puzzlers. You might want to check out that app tegrazone, it'll keep up to date on new tegra games.
Just updated my nexus phone to jellybean. A couple of observations regarding the nexus 7. The transformers movie is a streaming affair, I noticed under my data usage that its already used over 3gigs of bandwidth and I'm only about half way through. Yikes. I guess its good its not a download...
This is my first tablet device, I bought it to complement my nexus phone. Transferring over my apps and contacts was painless. I like the speed and responsiveness of the device. Customizing could take a while. I like how easy it is to create folders and google NOW has that high tech cool...
Not all ps vita games are discounted on the psn store. Only Sony, Ubisoft and Askys are currently doing discounting. EA, Sega and Capcom are charging full retail price. Escape Plan is $14.99, Super Stardust Delta is $9.99 but the dlc is pricey at $7.99. The upcoming Mutant Blobs from Space...
I live in Canada. I'm unaware of the policy you describe for used games here.
The games that were gutted were individual copies of about 10 different games. The manuals were all in mint condition. When I visited another gamestop outlet, they had the same exact titles out as pre-owned...
Sometimes you have no choice. This is especially the case with DS and Wii titles. I could only find Zack and Wiki for the wii as a used copy. The same for picross for the DS. A number of titles go OOP and the used market is the only way to enjoy these games.
Gamestop, I believe is headed...
I wouldn't mind seeing Marty as a criterion special edition along the lines of Twelve Angry Men. The tv version with Rod Steiger would make a great supplement.
Picked up The Apartment today along with a few other titles such as Annie Hall and Manhattan. I'd classify this as a solid upgrade over the dvd. The old dvd appears washed out in appearance with visible print damage compared to this. I can now actually appreciate the black and white photography...
Just thought I'd mention, that if you own a ps3 and have a psn account, the 3d version of Piranha is now available as a rental, albeit at a higher than normal price. In my area, no video outlet is renting 3d versions of films, so, I'm glad for this option as I have no interest in owning the film.
Bottom line, Kevin, you don't give the writer or director any credit and last time I checked those were the key people in determining authorship of a film. Since when are reviewers supposed to be press agents and echo what's in an EPK?
I'm not sure why people keep referring to Devil as an M. Night film, since he neither wrote the screenplay or directed. The director of this film, John Erick Dowdle, previously, did Quarantine and should be given his proper credit. LIkewise, the writer, who previously did 30 days of night and...
I use a ps3 for bluray playback using the latest firmware 3.55, I believe. Basic Instinct plays fine, no problems to report here. Also checked Speed out, no problems to report there, either.
I checked out bestbuy canada's website and they have an exclusive version of inception which includes the shooting script for $3 more and they're also listing a midnight opening, which I think has more to do with the new Warcraft game. Lining up with warcraft fans scares me.
The 2d version of the movie is accessed through the menu system. When you hit "Play movie", you'll enter a sub-menu where you're given your choice of the 2d or 3d version. Works the same way with Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. And I assume Open Season. I don't own Open Season so I can't...
Not a problem with your equipment. I noticed the ghosting as well and found it distracting. Worst in this respect of the 3d titles I own. Its not unbearable but it mars the overall experience, which is unfortunate as the film has some very good 3d sequences, the floating train ticket being my...
