oh well... Can't keep up with everything, I guess. I even gave up my rear speakers lately, (after the move). so my 7 channel Denon is not used as it needs to. presently have only two front spkrs + center + subwoofer. Do I need updating... maybe, but will it happen? likely not soon... lol Cheers,

I fixed it. It was an issue within the receiver. Thanx for your help anyway...

I dblchecked everything. Tried the buttons at the back. Unless there is a combination of pressing the buttons I checked them all.

thanx for your response. I don't see any "AMP" on the romote nor on the receiver. I trust it is "blocked" by that function, but I can't find it anywhere...pretty annoying.
