Robert, could you give us any insight about who in Warner provided this response to you? I am not doubting you or the info, but I think many would be curious about the source.
If there is in fact an error, it may be over-optimisitc that we will know "for certain" within days.
What has been the quickest example to date of a studio acknowledging faulty/sub-par transfers? In some cases, they never even officially acknowledge the issue even when they put out a new...
So has this "fade to green" been verified by anyone else? When I first saw it, I assumed it must be a bit of a joke. If accurate, I am not sure how this could be anything but a gross error?
So even on bright images, are there people who don't hear any buzzing when the set is muted? I'm not sure if I am overly sensitive, or perhaps there is wide variance on these displays.
I just received a 46G25 last week. Great picture. I'm just keeping in THX mode and avoiding any black bars and station logos for the 1st 100 hours or so. Does anyone else with a G25 hear any buzz when bright white images are onscreen, when sound is very low or muted?
