so buy another sub 120 iand sell the old sub 120 driver instead of buying amp and building box both cost the same for me ok well if a 240watt amp wont make a difference should i run a sub 120 with my HF and have the 2 12s or buy a 500 watt amp and just have the HF?
i have a sub 120 which i replaced teh driver with a dayton HF. and the old 12 is sitting around i can ebay it and buy a sub 120 to go with the HF or i can build a box (have wood and design already) and buy a 240 watts amp and then place the 240 amp in the HF and take the 150 which came with the...
well i ordered it and the tech guys said "IT is a fantastic sub for home theater and will work in the same enclosure. The tuning should be a little deeper though so you would want to make the port longer." what? and How do i do this?
i am about to put a new speaker in my old encloser and the tech guys said the speaker is tuned a lil deeper so i just make the ports a lil longer ? Explain?
it doesnt have to be a titanic maybe the HF on daytons site for 129 i hear its more accurate anyone have a HF http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=295-464
i have the dayton sub 120 12 and i was thinking about buying a titanic 12 and switching the woofers im sure the amp is alot lower like a 150.. do you think it would be a substantiale difference?
nah buddy i went with a dayton sub 120 12 inch and it sounds exceptional with movies but its a lil slow with the music great buy tho. i just found a good buy on a awesome speaker and i want to tinker i have a box that a previous woofer came in and its the same dimetions as the titanic kit. i...
like the dayton titanik 12 subwoofer kit. box, sub and amp hook em up and your good to go dont need to eq it i can get the dimentions on the box they come with buy the same amp and buy the speaker
you always make stuff so difficult , yeah i know about the box n stuff but basicly you just hook the amp to the box and then hook a few wires to the speaker. tools and box size and placment were not part of my question. i said buy a box anyway
hey i need sulotions not smart ass remarks buttholes. i think im gonna go with the dayton 12 but it doesnt have LFE how much of a difference does that make?
