I've done the simple calibration through the DVE disc, but it still needs professional adjustment via the maintenance menu. I just not sure about the longevity of my TV and I don't want to spend money on calibration if the TV will die on me in a year or two.

I guess my real question is, how much more life expectancy should I expect from my 4+ year old RPTV, and is it worth spending another $300 on?

I've got a Toshiba 57H80, a 57" RPTV that I bought 4+ years ago from BB. Thanks to Robert of ValueElectronics, a Toshiba HD-A2 should soon be on my front doorstep. So my question is, should I spend $300+ on a calibration (I have slight overscan issues, as well as some blue fringing on white)...
