    Dan, I certainly don't blame you for being skeptical about Dolby IIz.   IIx, on the other hand, converting 5.1 mixes to 7.1, is STAGGERINGLY effective without being harmful to the surround soundstage. I've yet to hear a mix which isn't improved by this, and doesn't in fact sound like it...
