Top 5 stalled shows you want to see completed

Well, to keep it simple, any series that's been started by WHV. They're the worst at promising viewers a series, by starting to release them, then years go by while they sit on their thumbs. Shame on you, Warner. I'll be collecting my pension by the time these shows see their last seasons...

    Little Rascals question

@TheGreatOz: No, the Cabin Fever set was comprised of the early Hal Roach talkies, circa 1929-38, along with 4 or 5 silent-era shorts. Cabin Fever never had rights to the MGM talkies as they've always been owned by MGM. I was lucky enough to pickup the Cabin Fever DVDs before they went out...

    More Night Court??

Well, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. There is absolutely no reason for me to spend $20-$30 on another set, just to get the 4-year cold shoulder again. I showed my faith as a consumer in Warner when I purchased the first set. And got screwed. It's time for them to pony up to the...

Predictions for more complete series sets.

Count me in for the Cheers boxset. I'll buy that in an instant.

    More Night Court??

I hate to say this but Warner Bros. has shown no faith in releasing this series for the past 4 years, so I have no faith in WB in that it will continue to release the series (other than in 4 year increments) after the second season is released. I'm most likely going to wait until season 3 or 4...

HTF Warner Tv/Animation Chat 9/15/08 - summary - to be updated live

Good news regarding Night Court. However, you'll excuse my lack of confidence when I say "When I see it, I'll believe it." I guess four (well, now what might be five) years of waiting will do that to somebody...

Music Replacements in Cheers: 10th Season

I remember the scene exactly. It was "Make 'em laugh" from Singin' In The Rain, if I remember correctly. Too bad they cut it. :frowning:

    Cheers: The Complete Series

I actually held off on buying any of the Cheers series, because I began noticing the trend that studios were doing...i.e., releasing the season sets, to be followed by a complete set at the end of the run, which was always priced less overall. I'll definitely pick up a complete series set of...

    Warner Bros. upsets me

I don't know what there business policy is but it sure stinks. They release Night Court Season 1 as a bare bones set in what? 2004? And fail to produce the reamaining seasons. Then, 2 years later, they release Drew Carey season 1 on the DVD and guess what? Screwed again. And we've only got 1...

Our Gang Collection, 80 shorts, Oct. 28

Ok, here's what I know about the original Cabin Fever releases. The original sets were released on VHS and went all the way to Vol. 21, with 4 shorts per tape. That makes 84; each tape had a quick intro by Leonard Maltin, talking trivia, shooting locations etc. Cabin Fever then began to...

    Question: Spaced - R1?

I agree Random Hero. I was ready to buy the R2 set a few weeks ago, until I found out the R1 was coming out and supposedly contained everything the R2 did. It is a bit confusing as Edgar Wrights blog mentions that everything on the R2 will be on the R1, and now with the press release that...

    Question: Spaced - R1?

Woohoo. I can't believe they are finally releasing Spaced on R1 DVD here in the US. Thanks to all those who were responsible for bringing to the masses here. However, I've got to say...who the hell approved the new cover art?? Yikes!! Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes (nee Stevenson) don't even...

What Is Your BEST & WORST Blind Buy TV On DVD?

I don't really have a worst blind buy as when I buy TV on DVD, it's usually because I'm already familiar with it. But best has to be a toss up between Band of Brothers and Carnivale. Both I hadn't seen before; just heard the hype on BoB and a friend recommended Carnivale.

    Question: Spaced - R1?

This is incredible news. I've been a long time fan of Spaced and can't wait to get my hands on the R1 set. Beautiful! Also, I can't wait to see "The World's End", their new collaboration. (*note: title may change apparently)

    Question: Spaced - R1?

This is incredible news. Can't wait to get the set now. I've debated on and off again on picking up the R2 version (I have a PAL -> NTSC upconverting DVD player). I've been a long time fan of Spaced and will be picking this up the day of release, guaranteed.

Special Announcement regarding the third Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection

That's it. I am fed up with Warner Bros. DVD division. First, they release Night Court Season 1 and refuse to release further seasons.
