I've been doing complete series lately (actually the wife is at this time). First ep to last ep. Right now Hotel is on the agenda. We've seen a lot of whole series the last few years and yet there are more to do!

Wow! I had a deep down feeling that we'd only see the 1st season and that would be it. I'm pleasantly shocked that the 2nd season is on its way.

I checked Shout! Factory's site for the news but didn't see anything about it. I really hope this news is true-this show was one of the last of the oldies I've wanted for some time.

Any more word on when/if the show will be released?

Anybody think that this show might actually see the light of day this year? Now that "Father Knows Best" seems to be coming along nicely it sure would be nice to see this show make it to DVD.

Yup-I too watched this show on good old 11 Alive back in the day and I thought the same thing. Odd Couple, Honeymooners, Star Trek and Twilight Zone from 11PM to 1:30AM. What a classic lineup! And now I have them all to watch at any time I choose. DVD is wonderful

I must congratulate CBS on this show. Even though there were cuts in all five seasons I am impressed that it took them only a year and a half to put out the entire series. I had long wanted this series and once they started putting out the seasons they did deliver them rather quickly. Too bad...

The craziest cut of this season has to be from "The Odd Candidate". In the opening sequence shown before every ep we see Oscar in his room with his feet in a basting pan who then gets up and wipes his feet. Yet in the ep we never see him wipe his feet. Now why would THAT be cut? I'm wondering...

Cool! After watching "Tales of Tomorrow" I wanted to see some more of these ancient kinescoped shows warts and all. And this show is one I always wanted a glimpse of since Norton enjoyed it so much in one of my favorite episodes of "The Honeymooners"!:laugh:

Sony will put out series packs of shows they've long since put out in their entirety season by season but they won't carry on with shows like this one or All in the Family? Then they have the gall to whine about poor sales? What a joke!:angry: Sony should be ashamed of itself for such poor...

Yeah, what's up with Season 9? All of a sudden, no news at all on this show after regular releases. I hope Universal isn't killing this show so close to completion:angry:

I have some advice on this show-hey Sony, finish putting this show out on DVD already!:P As for the show itself-yeah, the video isn't the greatest but anyone who likes classic TV needs to get at least a couple of seasons of this show. It spent years at the top of the ratings for good reason.

With Father Knows Best finally out on DVD and Partridge Family returning from the dead will we ever see Marcus Welby make it to DVD? I figured it was time to bump this one up since it's been a while and this show could use a similar miracle.;)

Some more Kojak would be nice to see. I also like the opening theme they used later in the show better than the first season's version. I'm hoping Universal farms out this show because one season just isn't enough

I'm hoping an announcement comes soon for this show. Despite the music edits we've seen in the first four seasons I can't wait to pick up the last season-hopefully by year's end.:D

Sometimes I do marathons. Some involve guest stars, some are based on the original network airdates for eps of shows in my collection. I find that these marathons get me to watch shows that sometimes I haven't seen in a while. It's also kind of interesting to see the evolution of Leslie Nielsen...

I've had the same sort of problem with "Brady Bunch". However, the discs have played fine even though they look terrible-strange to say the least. Ever since this problem was first mentioned here I've checked for the Scanavo name every time I get a new TV show-if I see it I replace the case...

I wouldn't mind getting this show except for an even worse problem than the cost-it's on those dreadful double sided discs! If they put it out on single sided discs (and lower the price) I'm picking it up in a hurry:D

Yeah, Sony stinks. First they surprise us by bringing a season of Maude out and then that's probably it. Worse is the fact that they've gone deep into All in the Family and it too is stuck. Facts of Life shows no signs of life either. And The Rookies is probably dead forever. Come on Sony-you...

More Maude would be nice. But being a Sony show who knows when or if we'll ever see another season of it or quite a few other of their unfinished shows.:angry:
