cheap sleeping bags that zip together, plenty of colourful designs to choose from. Hang them over the curtain rails for perfect blackout at minimum cost. Can also be used as sleeping bags when not watching movies.
There are plenty of HD 720p projectors for $500 - $900 Benq w500, Optima HD65/70/72 All are pretty good What resolution 480/720/1080 http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htf/...d.php?t=265510
I totally agree but would change one word .......HD plasmas and LCD were made to show HD content and are poor at displaying SD A panasonic PWD6/7/8 plasma panel displays SD pictures very well and can be purchased second hand at very good prices.
It looks total rubbish. I only watch my PJ after dark. In a blind test between the 720p and 1080p Mitsubishi projectors, running side by side, a group of enthusiasts couldn't tell which was which.
BenQ W500 projector 720p, $899 at amazon .... edit $822 with rebate Optoma HD70 720p DLP Home Theater Projector .... $749 after rebate I can't believe how cheap these are getting!
I would really like to buy this collection, but am waiting until I can be sure of getting the right disks first time round. I was under the impression that the incorrect voice on these DVDs was an unnamed British actress taken from the UK revoiced cartoons (although I may be completely wrong)...
I meant I really would like to see the original 162 minute Italian theatrical release of this movie. The best extra of the 2 disk SE was the "Sorting out the Versions" that makes some attempt to describe the deleted scenes, this movie could be so much better. So what appears to still be...
I did a quick review of the R2 here "A Fistful of Dynamite" There are so many horses falling on the bridge scene that one or two removed isn't obvious. It's a shame they didn't restore the rape and torture scenes that were in the original Italian release.
50" HD plasma was about $4000, 56" HD RPTV was $2000. I was a bit wary of spending a large amount of money on a plasma as the technology is changing so quickly. (in the UK 1080p is still not available & HDMI standards are changing rapidly)
I have always thought LCDs to be unsuitable for movies/tv the black levels and colour depth are just all wrong. On the other hand, my 42" Panny SD plasma panel looked great (similar type to your pals) and knocked spots off all the LCDs of whatever resolution (the SD pannys don't get burn-in...
But as you all know, once a 50 ohm RCA plug is on each end, the 75 ohm cable has an effective impedance of its' lowest value component ........ 50 ohms. So why not use any (50 ohm) cable to start with. (if you really needed 75 ohm impedance, the manufacturers would have fitted your equipment...
I love Digipaks, give me the artwork everytime. A table in your living room solves all the unfolding problems. (or you could try cleaning the floor regularly)
Supposedly "Nit-Witty Kitty" has a line removed at the end on Spotlight Col 2 I've just added the cut and details to my list. (The UK boxset certainly has this line cut)
NOw changed to "slave stereotypes", I hope you find that a more suitable wording. It was a little more than a "blackface" gag and I was unsure how else to describe a word that was "considered the correct and proper English word for slaves and freed slaves of sub-Saharan African origin"...
Just got my China set, It's deffo a bootleg. "Puss 'n' Toots" is uncut as you said EDIT ..... no it isn't, this is the version with Mammy removed! "Saturday Evening Puss" is the later redraw (skinny white teenage girl) "His Mouse Friday" is muted as stated I just did a complete...
I have finally got around to comparing all the censorship edits in Tom & Jerry. Here it is, if I have missed anything out please let me know. Tom & Jerry Censorship
I didn't say the US version was cut ........ merely different in content. This has happened to several 70s movies I can think of with "Dawn of the Dead 1978" Euro version 119 mins (added gore, faster pace), US version 127 mins (less gore, more characterisation) being the clearest exapmle in...
In the US full length Tv release the female monster had her head ripped off at her "coming out" party. This is as much as you saw. In the UK TV release (shorter but with added gore),the scene continued to show some dangly neck gore. I saw the UK version and was a tad dismayed when my...
If you have small vertical bars either side of the output window my guess is you need to compensate for your source pixel shape. Click on the file you want to alter in the list top left, then file/interpret footage/conform to PAL 1.067 (or whatever), then OK PS I'm talking about Adobe...
