I own an A1 and I'm holding off until the October specs come out. I love special features, commentaries and all that interactive stuff so for me it's important that when I do get into Blu-ray, I have a fully functional player. Patience my friend.
Just added: 263. Harsh Times 264. Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room 265. The Warriors 266. The Untouchables 267. The War 268. The Wedding Date 269. Dante's Peak 270. Billy Madison 271. Blood Diamond
Ok, I just took a look at all of the websites I usually order HK, Korean, and Japanese movies from and none of them have this on their sites. It's a little odd for something that's supposed to come out on July 9th. Does anyone have any ideas if this is actually coming out?
 Oh my god. Someone tell me this is a joke! Dammit Weinstein will you start releasing your Dragon Dynasty label already. Looks like I'll have to get a Blu-ray player faster than I thought now.
With my recent package from Amazon I'm up to 256 HD DVDs now. I don't have most of the music titles but I do have a lot of the imports so there are a lot more than 244 unique titles out there. Paul, are you confusing me with another Danny?
Just added: 245. Mystery Men 246. Mallrats 247. Bulletproof 248. Being John Malkovich 249. American Me 250. Hustle and Flow 251. Freedom Vol. 1 252. Dead Silence 253. The Big Lebowski 254. Black Snake Moan 255. Meet Joe Black 256. The Watcher
Just because BB's revenue numbers are higher than NetFlix doesn't mean they're making money. BB reported negative earnings last quarter and have been for the past couple of quarters. Netflix has been profitable for the past couple of years.
Downfall has been released in Germany on HD DVD. Unfortunately no English subs. I'm still waiting to be able to watch Stalingrad since I have a first gen player for now.
I would suggest you try switching the HDMI inputs for the cable box and PS3 and see if that makes a difference. I might be your receiver if the problem is reversed after you switch connections.
Since the BD10 only had HDMI 1.2, the BD10a should have exactly the same since the only difference is the pre-installed firmware upgrade. This is a very good deal. Tempting.......
Just added the Road Warrior and the Fountain. Up to 214 titles on HD DVD. I'm lucky enough to have a good job that gives me enough disposable income. Also helps that my wife doesn't mind my hobby.
Magnolia Home Entertainment has announced the South Korean film The Host (2006) on HD DVD and DVD, July 24. Each will be priced at $29.98 SRP. http://hddvdformat.blogspot.com/2007...e-updates.html
Are you talking about firmware 2.1? I don't have it yet but I heard a lot of people have problems with it if their connection is HDMI>DVI. If you have a 2.0 disc you can just flash it back and you shouldn't have a problem.
