I've enjoyed S2, esp the police commentaries and trivia tracks. Couldn't get the ringtone either. Hope Shout releases the rest of this series With some Reed and Malloy participation!
I haven't seen the UK version and so far I like the show, esp. the pilot. However, tonights episode wasn't that great and then the scenes for next week with Whoopi,... I hate stunt casting, and maybe it's not stunt casting, but it smells like that to me. I'll follow for a little longer to see...
I didn't see the UK version and am willing to give it a chance. I liked the ep last night, esp. the twin towers shot, ala Planet of the Apes. Wasn't expecting that. Did anyone notice the liscence plate of the car that hit Sam?
Might be old news but Netflix has some shows, Adam-12 and Quincy for example that didn't get full series releases on DVD but you can watch them instantly online. I was shocked to see Adam-12 episodes from seasons not on DVD. Shocked but happy:)
Am I the only one that thinks old series would sell better if they weren't, what I consider to be in some cases overpriced? I just saw where Fugitive s1v2 is coming out at around $43.00 for 13 episodes, same with Love Boat s1v1. I think Flipper came out overpriced a long time ago so I waited...
If anyone needs to finish the Universal Horror Collection, like me, Borders has them all on sale for $14.99 each until Halloween (i think). These are the ones that came out in 2004. Drac, Frankie, Wolfie, Mummy, etc..
i picked this up yesterday and they had plenty in stock, they also had about 20 sci fi #2 sets still in stock. were low on the plush dolls for jungle book tho:)
i picked up the sci fi vol 2 set today at my local BB, at first it looked like there were only 2 on the shelf, then when i reached the end of the sci fi section i saw they had about 24 in different parts of sci fi section. it looks like they used them as fillers for empty spaces.:rolleyes
i don't know if commercial tv is dying, but it certainly is different. i think it has to adapt to the current marketplace or it will die. the world isn't the same place when there was usually just one set in the house and 3 networks to choose from. that worked for awhile and now we can re-live...
i used to work for bbv and trust me , they don't care. if i were you i wouldn't let that $1.25 sit out there too long. when i worked in the store we had to send people to collection agencies over fees. i wouldn't put it past bbv to send you also. you'd be surprised how many people had their...
i love watching these perry mason episodes. they can be quite addictive. i have to try not to run thru them all at once. since perry seems to be selling well, maybe they will start releasing full seasons starting with s3. i hope so. thanks for the update:)
TSH truly borders on camp. the first time i saw it , i was like okay typical MGM crawford vehicle, but when joan goes into firefighter mode and that whole sequence with the bandaged face at the end ..i went did i see what i thought i saw?
all i hear are the crickets:frowning:
i loved this mini-series, it's length makes it perfect for dvd.
i watched it 20+ yrs ago on showtime, would love to see it again.
i found wb tough guy collection for 19.99 at bj's and couldn't believe it. i had just seen it at borders for 59.99. snapped it up even though i was shopping for perry mason season 2. saw quincy seasons 1 and 2 for 19.99 at cc, but passed.
