I am going to presume that the extras will be the same on both DVD and blu-ray. In that case, is it worth the extra $10. list price for the blu-ray version? What I am really asking, using the same equipment, is the picture going to be much better from the blu-ray over DVD?

The set is being released in both DVD and Blu-ray. There will be extras in the set. Does anyone know whether between the two sets the extras will be the same or whether there will be more on the blu-ray?

Last year the National Film Registry added Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video to it's list. The blu-ray only version of "This Is It" lists "Thriller" as a bonus. Is this "bonus" the same as the original 13 minute music video "Thriller?"

The Blu-ray version of the Sand Pebbles, apparently, only includes the additional scenes from the Road Show version, as compared to the standard DVD which includes the longer version on the second disc. Is the Blu-ray so superior to the DVD as to justify not having a complete Road-Show copy?

In March MGM/Fox is bring out another dual DVD/Blu-ray set of the Graduate. Is there any difference between the two? Second, on the existing set are there any extras included? Some descriptions of the set include a commentary tract, but others indicate nothing extra.

The end of December is approaching and the Library of Congress will be adding another 25 films. I would be interested in opinions of what is going to be added, let alone if any knows what is on the list.

DeepDiscount is listing these Sony/Columbia sets as future releases, including a Rita Hayworth set, but only two film noir sets.

Does anyone know the comparison in electricity used, presumably in watts, between a LCD and a cathode-ray TV? I presume a 27" cathode-ray receiver uses about 100 watts an hour, so I much would the 32" LCD use?

Barrie Maxwell's "Classic Coming Attractions" column reports there will be a forthcoming "film noir" set, with five rumored titles. Any information about a release date? Or will it, apparently, be forgotten, like the previously announced WB Film Noir set, vol. five.

Costco brought it in with a group of other titles, including Forbidden Hollywood II and III. The same SKU # for all three. The price is $34.99. That's a 30% discount. It seems high for a set with a $50. list price, compared to the Amazon or even the B & N price.

And a third person who is requesting "Merry Andrew". I believe the film was distributed by MGM. Presuming any copyright and distribution rights issues are resolved, will the DVD come out from WBHV or MGM/Fox?
