A little OT here.. but am I the only one who loved the original cartoon series of LOTR?

Second only to STAR WARS (The original 3)

all I can say is that it is one of the best trilogies ever made.. period..

Just one more thing.. sometimes that is not a bad thing.. some trilogies should have never gone that far.. and look what happened with Rocky when it went past 3... ugh!!

Seems like trilogies are the thing to do today.. make three cash in.. move on to other things..

Oh, I should say what for.. I want the lumens to be high enough that I can watch in normal light and maybe with some sunlight coming in the room.

Specific recommendations of projectors would be appreciated.

What would you say would be the minimum lumens that I would want if I want a decent projector that will play with lights on and sunlight coming in the doorway.. I don't want to have to turn everything off to watch tv.

also it seems to be harder to get -R these days. (not that I want them ;) )

I have had much more success with +R playing in my various dvd players. Way too many issues with the -R

I can't wait for this!! I am such a geek that I am going to order 2. One to view.. and one to sit on the shelf to remain pristine and mint :)
