From what I saw from someones pictures, they compartmentalized the stage into sections and lined it all with thick clear plastic from what I remember.

For the size of the room you are looking at acoustic ratio's of Finished Ceiling height times 1.60 for a width figure and a length of Finished Ceiling height times 2.33 for the depth. Unless you have incredibly high ceilings, this seems like it will will not be optimal ratio wise. EX 8' ceiling...

Good idea would be to get some basic modelling software such as Floorplan 3D or MS Visio. Then you can model the room and play around with specifics. View the other theatres on the site for ideas.
