for a real burger, you need to get away from the chain restuarants for god's sake! if ever in pittsburgh, find fat heads in the south side, utterly fantastic
One of my friends is looking to get a new tv, and is really not sure what to get as far as what type of tv. I have offered to help her out, but do not know much myself. Any good ideas? thanks
At $230, is this a good sub? I know ...would rather be buying an svs or hsu, but I am in the process of buying a house, and the budget does not permit. I used to have an old velodyne (forgot the model number, but it got me through school ...blew it a few months ago) and suited me fine. Any...
i will make a random jump in -- meet the fockers was not really that good ...you could do a lot better as far as recent movie references are concerned. anchor man much funnier (meet the fockers makes the same jokes, over and over again)

My friend inherited a large pair klipsch -- he claims they have a 10 in the back, an 8 & 6 up front, and the standard horn. I am trying to advise him buying a larger (4 ohm) receiver. He has no idea what the model number is, so I am not able to help him. Anyone out there know what this is ...and...
I was trying to find an older thread on outdoor speakers, but could not find anything. Anyone have any opinions on the subject. Just trying to fill a small enclosed patio with some good sound -- gotta listen to some music in the hot tub. Would prefer not to go with bose. thanks

I am running a Denon, cannot remember the model, but I believe it has 65W -- maybe the AVR 1601 or something like that. Right now it is running an older pair of Mirage bookshelves that I plan on putting in the rear of my 5.1
Is there anything more advantageous in buying a floorstanding speaker over a bookshelf other than cosmetic? I am trying to buy great speakers, without going over $500. For bookshelves, I have been looking at Swan 2.1 and paradigm titan or atoms ...and maybe axioms. For floorstanding, about all...
I am looking for a good match for my Denon Receiver -- an older model (I think AVR 1602) -- which puts out 65W up front. Would really like to match it with floorstanding speakers. My budget would be under $500 (hopefully). I have been looking at Athena AS-F2, as well as the entry models for Swan...
