UPDATE: Santa did bring the Polk Audio M20 towers AND a matching CS1 center. Thanks Matt for the link, but my wife had a better idea. She said "Just turn it around." DUH! Now my front firing sub is a rear firing sub. And it can stay in the corner.

I am supprised that with all the discussion about speaker placement, that this has never come up before. My sub speaker will be litterly 3 inches away from my tower.

Santa will be bringing me a set of Polk Audio M20 towers. Can I place one directly in front of my front firing sub? The M20 is a 2-way tower with both speakers at the top. The sub will be blasting directly into the bottom cabinetry of the tower. Is this OK.?

Another Update... I called LG support and the Lady there told me that it shouldn't do that. Well of course it shouldn't... but it does! She suggested that I take it back and get another one. I'm afraid it will do the same thing.
