I blind bought the 40 year old virgin for 13.49 after the sale. The film was worth that price. i liked it. The Simpsons was 30.49 by me with the 15 dollar discount. Incredible price! I was almost ready to pay 40 for it.

I think it had the soul of Night, Dawn and Day, but yes the length was a problem. Those three films are all pretty much two hours each. The unrated Dawn being the longest of them all, at 142 minutes. It's also the best of the four if you ask me.

The movie was better than I thought it would be. The trailer and it's heavy metal music only made me assume the worst. Because, you see, everything wrong about horror cinema is depicted in Dawn of the Dead 04. And the trailer for LOTD looked like it was appealing to DOTD 04 fans. So I was not...

The main bulk of the film was entertaining. The very end was terrible. It's worth 16 dollars the week it comes out if its got an audio commentary or a deleted scene.

The aspect ratio really doesn't matter much on an animated show such as this. Rarely is it an issue on these DVDs. I own them. They're funny. If you like Bean, buy 'em and forget that they are in the wrong aspect ratio...because it really makes no difference.

Supposibly the subtext for this film is the War in Iraq. This is far from official though...I just heard it from a close friend who knows a few people who work in the horror movie industry.

I vote Magavox MDV455 also. Hell, I went out and bought a back up around 6 months ago. That's how good that DVD player is. Ebay it. Best Buy/Circuit City only sell the MDV456 now, which you cannot hack.

I think S-1 is the best selling tv show on DVD of all time. With the Family Guy right behind it.

I caught this show a few times on Comedy Central. One night I was watching and they aired a skit that was something like "If Grand Theft Auto was real" and it had to be one of the funniest things I've seen on TV in a long time. Is that skit on this DVD?

I got curious about this film once too. I just ebayed myself a copy. I really wish I didn't. It honestly is as bad as they all say it is. But yeah, curiousity kills that cat. Bad word of mouth isn't enough to not want see it (I know it wasn't for me! :D) so good luck finding it.

The UK distributor is a UK only distributor I believe, and that's why it's coming out unrated. It's something to that nature. Someone posted the reason why in the Saw review forum. Either way...I'm really sick of this. It's not even like it's a substantial amount of footage...it's like 2...
