I know this isn't the main point of this thread but with my Denon receiver I can select a +main mode which sends the LFE signal to the sub and also the whole frequency range to the fronts that are set as large. Don't know if you have the same thing but might be worth a shot. -Svence

I have a pair of old old old aDs 500 sitting around that need a little help. The speaker, outside of the rubber surround is peeling away from the basket, I can squeeze some glue in there no prob but am worried about it eating at the surround. Any suggestions. Maybe hot glue? -Svence

What is the Q of a sub or speaker? Everyone talks about the Q being .7 or 1 or xxx, what is that? I searched, but loooking for an answer on a one letter question is like finding a needle in a haystack. -Svence

I have been reading alot about speaker wire recently and have found alot of information saying Cat 5 braided DIY wire makes a great speaker wire. What are the benefits of it over say some 10 or 12 GA soundking wire from PartsExpress? Thanks. -Svence

Those look nice, I really liked the second link to the IPEE dayton center. My only concern is the difference between the Silk Dome and the Titanium Tweeter they use. Will it be too harsh compared to the Silk ones the BR-1's have? Thanks. -Svence

I recently finished the BR-1 kit from Parts Express and love it. They sound great and the price was unbelievable. I was wondering if there were anymore kits out there similar to this one but a center channel. I would like to be able to timbre match with the BR-1's. Thanks for any suggestions...

From what I have heard, the S series is being completely redone and is going to be more expensive then the previous S series. -Svence
