i am thinking about getting the JBL s38's..so now i need a sub. im not sure how much i should spend on one. i like what i hear about svs but that seems a little too much..but maybe its worth it? please help me out thanks

i just got a JVC 50bk dvd player and it says it has a screen saver....what is it..do i have to wait for it to come on or does it just go blank or what? kindof a dumb question but i was curious. thanks

ok i was reading all the good stuff about the jvc 50bk so i had my dad get one for christmas yesterday at best buy. then i read about the problems with the picture shuttering!...so what do u guys suggest that i do..should i just exchange it for a pioneer or something, or try it out and see...

I am not sure if home theatre is right for me. I got some money saved up and love listening to music and want surround sound for my tv. yea the couch is up against the back wall so the surrounds should be on the sides? hmm i thought they should be behind you... so it should look like this and ive read different things but should the rear speakers point towards each other? sorry ill see if i can get a picture...

i guess that wasnt too clear...the area i will be listening is pretty square..but theres more room goin off to the left. I just wanted to know how i can place my rear surrounds because where i will be sitting is right up agianst the back wall.

ok...i have a tv in a large entertainment center in my living room. I want to get a nice reciever and some speakers for surround sound. I dont want to get rid of the entertainment center but im not sure it would be wide enought for 5.1. I guess i could place the speakers on the outside of it...
