Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the eventual release of seasons 5 and up. It seemed that they were rollong with the releases, but has now stopped cold.
I have one really important question for anyone who might know this. HOW ARE THE SALES FOR MTM SEASON 2? I only ask this because if sales aren't up to par, we fans may not see seasons 3 through 7 ever released on dvd.
FINALLY GOOD NEWS ABOUT MARY!!!!! Although I am quite sceptical as to the outcome, I will buy Season 2 a soon as it comes out. Will it be another 3 years after the release of season 2? Or will all of us diehard fans be stuck with only 2 complete seasons of MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW. Time will tell...
Interesting points, but how about we get back to the issue at hand? That is, the issue of MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW. With so many other titles already on second, third and fourth season release, MTM, a classic, is still stuck in neutral. From what everyone is saying, it is already set, (the extras...
I truely believe that FOX has abandoned MARY TYLER MOORE. As a network they do have a sad reputation of saying so long to good shows that have low or so so viewership. If Seinfeld had been on FOX, it would have been cancelled by th second season. In their defense, they did propose a slightly...
Here is my solution: Forget the special features, keep the good picture quality and sound, and sell the full uncut season at a much lower price! In the end, it will sell much better, and with a hefty profit to boot. Consumer happy and Seller Happy. As it is now; high price, low sales, no...
Well, let me just say that I personally don't care if WHO'S THE BOSS ends it's DVD reign at only season one. There are so many truely wonderful and funny shows that deserve much better than to get a 1 or 2 season release and then nothing. In the coming months there will be thousands of season 1...
There is only one new show that i will purchase and that show is SEINFELD.I have several other shows which have that are frozen in seasons 1 or 2 and I am so frustrated to see so many sub-par shows going through seasons 5 and 6 already. I dont think SEINFELD will suffer the fate of the other...
Well this is good news! But here is a better idea. Release Season 2 in its entirety for 25$ And it will sell big and with a hefty profit because more will sell! What an great insentive to get a complete (and uncut) set for less! Now there is an impulse buy for much more people!
Sadly, a season 1 release of any show today doesn't guarantee any future releases, with only a few exceptions. Perhaps if these season sets weren't so costly, they may sell better, and we would all enjoy our favourites. THE BOB NEWHART SHOW was a wonderful classic as was THE ODD COUPLE and THE...
OOPS! You got me on the Universal thing. However, possible explanation is not an actual fact. So the "fresh in our minds" thing is just a theory . A rumor of sorts. But I would really want to here from Universal as to their reasoning. Have they said anything? I would like to know. And I hope...
I'm not quite the completist that people think I am. My DVD collection of M*A*S*H consist of seasons 1 through 3. To me it is a complete set because I didn't much care for the rest of the seasons. So far, I like seasons 1 through 5 of SVU. Is it really a fact that Paramount is releasing season 5...
I do a lot of traveling and sometimes in my travels, I wish to see an old favorite movie or see a favorite program. Because of this I am investing in a portable dvd player. There are so many on the market. Anyone have any ideas as to which is the best one.
OK, interesting take. Although going from a season 1 release to a season 5 release does seem to me as a "skip" of seasons 2 through 5. As a fan of the show I would buy all episodes regardless of the order of release. However, it would have been nice if the releases were in order. It doesn't...
Hi all! Don't worry, this is not yet another rant on the non-release of future MARY TYLER MOORE DVDS. I'm just curious. Does anyone know the reason for skipping of LAW AND ORDER:SVU seasons. I love SVU. I have the season 1 DVDS, and I look foward to buying the recent season DVD. But, what...
My question is: WHY? The bonus episodes are from season 2, but there is a season 2 DVD set already released, with those two episodes in it. I dont really understand why those two 'bonus' episodes were part of the first season set. My other query is this: Will there be a season 3 DVD release? I...
Where can I start? The fact that the Cunninghams had two sons, and then he dissapeared with no metion of him ever; A short semi tough looking caricature of a character who claims a fithy toilet as his office; A 70's feel and look, even though the show takes place in the 50's; The Mork episode...
The answer is no! JUST SHOOT ME never had a theme song. The episodes may seem short because, if you hadn't noticed, no commercials. Most half hour shows are about 22 minutes long to begin with, then the commercials are added and BINGO, one half hour. Also, JUST SHOOT ME had a very short intro...
I still wonder why FOX still has the "coming soon" tag on Mary Tyler Moore season 2 at the FOX website. It is more of a tease than a reassuring sign that it really is coming soon. Supposedly it is finished and ready to go, but poor sales of season 1 is keeping it from being released. I've said...
MTM = Mary Tyler Moore Show MTM movie= The crappy Mary Tyler Moore Reunion Movie DVD= Digital Versitile Disc FOX= Company putting out certain DVDs.(if they say "coming soon", don't bet on it.) Sorry about the acronyms. Is this clearer?
