Boltz steel furniture MM-252x2 Holds 504 DVDs Floor Standing (color is gun metal/laquer) I have had this for a couple of months and I am selling it because I am having closetworld do a closet build in for my CDs and DVDs. Rack is in perfect condition, works and looks great The retail...
Before I had my B&K Ref 50 I had a 3802 as a pre amp, as long as you do not have it on a shelf you should be fine (not placed on the amp itself). The Sherbourn is no different than any other amp (actually 0 interference unlike the Denon POA 5200 it replaced) You'll love the power BTW
It has a great picture , good build quality, layer changes are non existant and fast menu navigation.....however the damn thing freezes like crazy...spend a little more and get a 2900
Looking for one stand for my center speaker. looking for the bigger ST-1 base. 25 or 17" is ok with tilt bracket and plastic cover. I dont want to pay retail.....used prefered
not with those Klipsh (very effecient), save your money. Those run pretty well with even a cheap reciever. Any other speakers I'd say go for the outboard amp. Do a search and you'll probably hear more of the same
I didnt see a 2500.00 limit. If you want new and features ..go with a nice reciever. However for about 3-4k you can get used seperates that in my auditions will yield better sound and flexabity. I think the 5803 is the only reciever that may stand up to seperates in the price range.
I really wish they would firmware fix the power down memory issue. i never get to watch a movie all the way through (4 kids) and each time I have go through all the menus again to find where I left off. That good navigation is fast otherwise this unit would go back.
Brian, very nice set up. What projector are you planning on using? BTW I liked the way your sherbourn looked with the ref 50 (same combo I have) that I went and put the two together in my rack the same way.
Also what people dont always read in the secrets test is that the players are tested at their defaut settings, thus if a freq. response is off a bit it can be corrected with the players sharpness control if it has the feature (I believe I have a stacy spears PM that confirms this).
