I just purchased a copy of Pinocchio on Blu-ray at my local Wal-Mart in Marietta, GA. It was the last copy they had in the store. It is the corrected version.

I had the same problem with The Matrix set. Secondary audio was off and did not get TRUE HD to display when I selected it. Upgrading Panny BD30 firmware to latest version solved the problem.

This glitch does not occur on the HD-DVD. I have the Toshiba HD-A2.

I see this on my copy as well, but it is not nearly as bad as those screen captures. I have the Panasonic BD30. Just a few bad pixels that lasts about 3 to 5 frames. I'll have to see if it's like this on the HD-DVD. I'll report back later on that.

Actually in this case, we are paying attention to the movie. If attention is focused on equipment we wouldn't have noticed the aspect ratio change.
