I too went with Canare cables...Put in my vote for clearcables.com They build Canare cables, and mine turned out sweet. They have a couple coverings to choose from...no frills and great performance. Service was outstanding, and they shipped quickly, despite being custom built and a custom length.

Has anyone modified their DV-45a to give it an IEC plug? I took mine apart tonight and dynamatted it to give it some more weight so I could cone it. I added some cone spikes to all four corners...I know this is really tweeky, and I don't expect a lot of performance out of such a mod, but I did...
